Style Arc Mimi Top

Style Arc Mimi Top #samimiwoventop

I have tested this pattern and decided to do the pattern hack.
Before I made this decision, I found is Bloom’s blog Here and made a wearable muslin, but I didn’t like how the sleeve look.
Instead of making tucks and then adding shirring, I omit tucks and adding shirring on entire cuffs.
I love shirring because it is beautiful and comfortable, so I wanted to add more than the original Mimi top.
That way, I can show them off.

Pattern: Style Arc Mimi Top
Fabric: Fabric Mart Rayon Chambray from Fabric Mart (I got this years ago. So gorgeous!!)
Size: 8 and 10 at waist

Modification: shorten 1″ at upper bust  and 1.5″ at waist area on both front and back (It was waaaaaay too long for me.)
I took 1″ from the sleeve where I shorten 1″ at the upper bust (-2″ total from a sleeve).
I was concerned that I was taking too much of ease, but it fits fine.
I guess this top is for a tall lady.

If I make another one, I will add a couple of inches to the sleeve, so that I have a full sleeve-length top.
