McCall’s 7975

Happy Friday, my friends!
It has been warm for a couple of days here in Georgia. The highest has been in the seventies?
Georgia weather confuses me all the time!

Anyway, this is my second #m7975 that I made last month.
I love this buttery texture of #brushpolyknit! I think it’s so lovely to wear a mustard color for the colder month.

I will probably make this one more time with short sleeves.
One thing to mention about this pattern, be aware of the drape and weight of the fabric. It affects how the knot looks.
I used a rayon jersey for the first one, and I felt like the knot was pulling down just a little bit. Also, it created space between where the seams and tie meet so that skin showed. I went back and sewed around the area to close on both. I like brushed poly more on this pattern.
Did anyone make this with a different fabric? Like cotton knits? I want to know how the knot looks. Please share any thoughts on the pattern!

Fabric: Double brushed poly jersey from @fabricmart
Size: Small
Adjustment to the pattern: shorten an inch of the sleeve, Cut 1.5″ at the wrist, and add 1.5″ with cuffs

Have a great weekend!
